さようなら れい先生!Sayonara Rei Sensei
This week, we farewell to Rei Sensei, who has been a popular assistant Japanese teacher over the past four weeks. Her guidance and encouragement in both classroom settings and at Japan Club have been greatly appreciated by the students. In observance of Harmony Day, students participated in a cultural activity making orange origami hearts.
As a Goodwill Ambassador for Gunma Prefectural Women’s University, which encourages female leadership, Rei Sensei has effectively promoted Gunma’s culture within our classrooms. She introduced students to customs specific to Gunma enhancing their cultural awareness and language proficiency.
Morinaga company based in Gunma, produces the well-known Japanese confectionery Hi-Chew, contributing to the city’s appeal as a travel destination. Many students now look forward to visiting Japan and applying their language skills in the future.
Thank you Rei sensei! おつかれさまでした
