Student Achievements
Our Junior School students have been excelling in various competitions and events, showcasing their talents and hard work. We are proud to announce that our ISDA Debating team won this year’s grand final. Additionally, our students secured second place in the duologue section at the Parramatta Eisteddfod and also took second place at the Sydney Eisteddfod. We also placed second at the Junior Chamber Strings Eisteddfod, an outstanding achievement. One of our talented Year 6 artists, Mia Li, was a finalist in the Young Archies, with another artwork displayed in Vivid. You can read more about her work in this newsletter. These achievements highlight the high standards across many facets of learning at our School.
Groove at the Factory Theatre
On Wednesday evening our Junior School band musicians preformed with our Senior School girls at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville. Titled Groove, this annual event has been a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform in a public venue. Congratulations to our Music Department and all performers. Yo can read more about this in this article.
Junior School Athletics Carnival
We had the perfect weather and the best day for our Kindergarten to Year 5 Athletics Carnival. It was a delight to see the parents dressed up, (some with cheer posters) getting into the spirit of the day. Mooramoora won the House Cheer. We will announce the overall winning team with the age champions at assembly next week.
