Groove @ The Factory

The Jazz and Contemporary concert ‘Groove’ took place at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville on Tuesday 17 June. It was a fantastic celebration of music, showcasing a diverse range of contemporary repertoire from our jazz ensembles and solo artists. A big thank you to the students, parents, and music team for making this incredible evening such a success. We are saddened that this is likely the last performance for most of our wonderful Year 12 musicians before they head into exams, but what a great way to celebrate their achievements. Many thanks to Principal, Lisa Moloney, Head of Senior School Joanna Graffen, Head of Junior School Daniel Sandral, and our wonderful music tutors for coming along and showing their support for our students. Extra thanks to Liz Gilberthorpe (Assistant Director of Music), Conor O’Reilly and Dr Rob Woodward for their ensemble direction, and to Toby Duncan for his expert piano stylings.
