Junior School Term Focus: Uniforms
Uniforms
This term in the Junior School we are focusing on the following with the girls:
- Uniforms
- Moving around the School quietly
- Using the toilets appropriately
- Keeping the playground clean
- Waiting on the red carpet for pick up in the afternoon.
Classes are discussing and making explicit the expectations around each of these points.
One way you can help at home is to ensure your daughter has the correct uniform each day. All uniform information can be found in the Parent Handbook and in the School diary (for older girls).
Some points to remember:
- Earrings must be gold or silver studs of no more than 5mm or small sleepers (one only in the lobe of each ear).
- Shoulder length must be tied back.
- Sports uniform is to be worn only on the day of the PE lesson.
- All items must be named.
- Our uniform should be worn with pride.
- Phones should be handed into the class teacher, turned off.
- Smart watches cannot be worn at School. Please ensure your child is aware of this rule. We cannot supervise a smart watch’s capacity, so all watches of this nature are not allowed in class. If your child has a smart watch at school, it should be in their schoolbag.
Thank you for supporting your daughter to do the right thing.
