Wellbeing Wednesdays
This week our Wellbeing Captain, Zoe Likely (Year 11), launched ‘Wellbeing Wednesdays’ on the quad at lunchtime. This provides an opportunity for students to play games together and have some fun before going back to class. Captains set up games of cornhole, giant Connect 4 and a nostalgic parachute. The Spirit Speaker – the gift from the Class of 2024 – also got some good use to keep the energy going.
It was brilliant to see students from all year groups playing games together, and to hear the sort of delighted squeals usually reserved for primary school playgrounds. This initiative will run every Wednesday Week A. Well done to Zoe and her team of Captains for leading this and bringing a little extra joy to the day.
