Year 10 Academic Enhancement Program

Week 8 (starting Monday 2 December 2024)

Following the return of Year 10 students from their Immersion program in Week 5 (starting Monday), we are presented with an opportunity to enhance the future learning outcomes of our girls. As such, all Year 10 students will participate in a two-week program to develop their academic skills and assist in their preparation for the Senior Years.

This 10 day program will cover both mandatory NESA requirements, such as all my own work, as well as enhancing subject specific skillsets and knowledge across a variety of subjects, and transdisciplinary projects. Students will be required to select from a variety of compulsory and elective workshops, which have been crafted to work alongside their subject choices for Year 11 and Year 12. A mixture of current Year 10 teachers, future senior years teachers, and other subject matter experts will be leading the program.

Over the coming weeks, your child will be required to select their preferred workshops, and we encourage you to speak with them as they do.
