Year 12

It was wonderful seeing Year 12 back for their final term of school. They have been encouraged to make the most of their remaining time at MLC School by myself and their School Captain, Erica Chou, at their opening year meeting on Tuesday morning.  

Both IB and HSC cohorts have been working hard, and the holiday break was no exception, with several students attending support provided and studying at school. Staff are impressed with the determination of the girls and their willingness to get on and keep devoting their energies to their courses. 

The Trial Examination block for the HSC and IB begins in one week. Many students have been refining and creating study plans to last them through the next three weeks and have reminded themselves that there will be a well-deserved temporary sigh of relief after the trials.  

During Luminary time in the lead-up to the Trial Examinations, the groups will discuss strategies around the night before, the morning of and during examinations to maximise their success and keep their mood in check.
