Year 11

The Year 11 girls have been busy with assessment tasks and planning their holidays. Chris Barnes, Assistant Head of Senior School – Academic Care and Administration, spoke to the whole group in Luminary time today to help the girls plan out their holiday work. He explained how to use their time appropriately during the break and to assess where they need to focus their attention. For example, reflecting on the level of study they are taking and how confident they feel in their subjects and workload at the end of Term 2. Each girl will receive a planner from him to complete and submit at the end of Week 1 next term.

Our image this week is of our Red Earth girls who are off to the Cape York communities on Tuesday for their immersion experience. As I mentioned last week, we are so excited for them for the journey and what they will teach us when they return. Hopefully the experience will help them to share stories and see the world from a completely different perspective.
