Giving Discarded Materials New Life

This term students in the Surprisingly Rubbish co-curricular club have been exploring used and discarded materials and how we can give them new life as art. The students used found resources sourced from Reverse Garbage and created a Mandala representing this ‘rubbish’ in a new light. We also began making handmade paper out of the recycling paper around the School. We have also explored how to change an ordinary plastic cup into something more exciting. Remember, everything can have a new life and it’s just the way you perceive it.
