Leawarra House Supports Exodus Foundation

For most people, the lead up to Christmas can be an exciting time filled with hope and joy but for others, it is a time of sadness and disappointment.

This term, for our service action, Leawarra has chosen to organise food donations for the Exodus Foundation (Rev Bill Crews Foundation). This will help many people who are struggling this Christmas to put food on their plates. 

The Exodus Foundation (Rev Bill Crews Foundation) aims to provide assistance to address the cause of homelessness, poverty and unemployment and has been supporting the homeless and needy for over 30 years. They are passionate about making a difference to the lives of those in need.

We are asking for your support and would like people to donate any non-perishable food items such as tinned food (pull-ring only), potato chips, lollies, cup-a-noodles, etc.

Starting from Week 2 (Monday 19 October 2020), there will be boxes on the red carpet to donate your items. Leawarra is hoping to collect as much as possible by the end of Week 7 (Friday 27 November 2020).
