Celebrating our Intergenerational Connections

Celebrating our Intergenerational Connections

The Intergenerational High Tea gathering held at MLC School brought together students, alumni, and parents in a fabulous celebration of the lasting connections between Old Girls and current students at the School. As generations mingled, laughter and stories filled the air, bridging the gap between past and present. From reminiscing about school days to discussing career paths and life lessons, each interaction fostered mutual respect and understanding. Through delicious baked treats and conversations, attendees celebrated the school’s rich history and enduring values, passing down wisdom and inspiration to the next generation. We had guests who graduated from as early as 1950, to current Junior School students as young as Year 2. A special mention goes out to the Prince family (1965, 1987, 2027), who had three generations of students attend!

The event served as a reminder of the timeless bonds forged within the MLC community, transcending age and fostering lifelong connections.
