Throughout this Eisteddfod season, MLC School students from Year 1 to Year 12 have participated in solo and ensemble events with great success.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <strong>MLC School<\/strong> <strong>Junior Chamber Strings<\/strong> placed 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in the Premium (A Grade) Primary School String Ensemble event of the Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Justine<\/strong> (Year 12) \u2013 Violin<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly Commended in Violin (20 and under) section of the Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Juah<\/strong> (Year 11) \u2013 Viola<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> Prize in the Concerto Championship of the St George Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> Place in the Open Age All Strings event of the Ryde Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place\u00a0in\u00a0the Viola section (20 years and under) of the Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place in the Bowed and Plucked Strings (20 years and under) of the Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Josephine<\/strong> (Year 10) \u2013 Violin<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finalist in the NSW Doctors Orchestra Junior Instrumental Scholarship (13 to 18 Years) of the Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>Highly Commended in Violin (20 and under) section of the Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Veronica<\/strong> (Year 9) \u2013 Clarinet<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> Place in the Clarinet (15 years and under) of Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> Place in the Woodwind section (14 years and under) of Ryde Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>3<sup>rd<\/sup> Place in the Clarinet section (20 years and under) of the Sydney Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place in the Woodwind Open Age section of the Ryde Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Dana<\/strong> (Year 7) \u2013 Cello<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Prize in the String Championship (12 and under) of the St George Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>3<sup>rd<\/sup> Place in the Orchestral String Solo (10 to 12 years) of the Ryde Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Kathy<\/strong> (Year 6) \u2013 Violin<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly Commended in the Open Violin and Viola section (11 Years and under) of the St George Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>Highly Commended in the Open Grade 7\/8 Music in the Move Award &#8211; Division 1\u00a0of the St George Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Mia Reeve<\/strong> (Year 5) \u2013 Violin<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> Place in the Violin (9 Years and Under) section of the St George Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>3<sup>rd<\/sup> Place in the String section (10 years and under) of the Inner West Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>Highly Commended in the Grade 7\/8 Strings (any age) section of the St George Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Bartolina<\/strong> (Year 5) \u2013 Violin<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly Commended in Violin section (10 and under) of the Inner West Eisteddfod<\/li>\n<li>Highly Commended in Violin section (10 and under) of the St George Eisteddfod<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Evelyn<\/strong> (Year 4) \u2013 Violin<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> Place Concerto section (9 years and under) of the St George Eisteddfod.<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place in the String Open (9 years and under) of the St George
