Rockfest is a concert to showcase rock bands and contemporary music with bands performing 1-2 songs, spanning across Year 7 to Year 12. It is always promised to be an amazing night where like-minded musicians play for their friends and family. This year\u2019s Rockfest was no different.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">MLC School was represented in four bands:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><em>Hypothetically<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Ash<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10),\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10),\u00a0<strong>Sophia<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10),\u00a0<strong>Anita<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10) and\u00a0<strong>Sophia<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><em>Headless Sheep<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Amelia<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 11),\u00a0<strong>Sienna<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 11),\u00a0<strong>Anika<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10),\u00a0<strong>Kali<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 11) and\u00a0<strong>Olivia<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0(Year 10)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><em>Silver Linings (Combined Band)<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Tascha<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10) and\u00a0<strong>Anita<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 10)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><em>Hollow Rhapsody (Combined Band<\/em>) \u2013\u00a0<strong>Liesel<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 12),\u00a0<strong>Maya<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 12),\u00a0<strong>Alexandra<\/strong>\u00a0(Year 12)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">I\u2019ll always remember this night as one of the best Rockfests so far, with a wide range of songs that represented each band\u2019s unique sound and talent. In my opinion, performances are the cornerstone of what brings musicians together, and the memories made practicing for and playing in Rockfest 2023 will be treasured.
