Families, students and friends were invited to the annual MLC School Illuminate<\/em>\u00a0festival on\u00a0Thursday 16 June 2022, from\u00a04.30pm\u20137pm.<\/p>\n

Illuminate<\/em>\u00a0is a showcase of artwork made by MLC School students, from the Junior to the Senior School, through a series of art installations, stalls, and games that each student has contributed to.\u00a0Illuminate<\/em> saw the MLC School Senior Centre decorated with exuberant colour, allowing the community to learn a range of skills through the art stalls and the inaugural MLC School Putt Putt Golf Course, where each House created a hole with its own theme.<\/p>\n

The theme of\u00a0Illuminate 2022<\/em> was \u2018Shine a light on your stories and the stories of others\u2019. This theme has encouraged students to express their own stories and the stories of others, using art mediums ranging from photography to textiles.<\/p>\n

During this event, Caf\u00e9 1886 was open, selling hot meals and drinks and there were a range of musical and dance performances throughout the night. This event took place in the MLC School Senior Centre and on the Quad. We were so excited to see families and parents back on campus to celebrate the achievements of our students!<\/p>\n
