While in Year 10, Madeleine co-wrote and co-directed (and designed, produced, cast, lit and promoted) <em>Working Title<\/em>, a play about a girl whose life slides between reality and the world of movies.\u00a0<em>Excelsior<\/em>\u00a02005 described it as an \u201cimpressive original work\u201d with \u201cwonderful performances and script\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine went on to complete an MFA in Creative Writing at Columbia University, NY. Her fiction has been published in\u00a0<em>The White Review<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Lifted Brow<\/em>.
