What a way to begin our 140th year of excellence in girls’ education! Term 1 at MLC School has been a powerful celebration of connection and growth, a reminder that ‘she can’, and always has.

From welcoming families at our Parent Welcome Drinks to the very first days of school for our Pre‑K and Kindergarten students, this term has been filled with milestones big and small. We saw creativity flourish in the Junior School Cardboard Challenge, determination on display at Junior Cross Country and the Junior School Swimming Carnival, and colourful learning shared through Harmony Day, the Junior School Carnivale and our Celebration of Learning for Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2.

We honoured community and legacy at our Multi‑Generational High Tea, bringing together generations of Old Girls and current students, and gathered to recognise leadership and empowerment at our International Women’s Day Breakfast. New traditions began with pride at our inaugural Cadets Establishment Parade, generosity shone at the Lester House Bake Sale, and academic achievement was celebrated at the Academic Assembly of Excellence recognising our high achievers from the Class of 2025.

Beyond the campus, the MLC School spirit travelled far, from celebrating alongside our peers at the Queen Salote College Centenary celebrations in Tonga to reconnecting with Old Girls at our London Reunion.

Across the entire term, our students showed commitment, teamwork and confidence through Sports, including Rowing, Water Polo, Tennis, Touch Football, AFL, Badminton, Diving, Swimming and more.

As we wrap up Term 1, we wish our community a safe, restful and joy‑filled Easter break. We look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for Term 2!
