Year 6 Excitement Day

In preparation for Year 7, our annual Excitement Day provided a fantastic opportunity for our Year 6 students to experience life in the Senior School and get to know some of our Executive Team and key learning areas.

The students had an absolute blast with a variety of engaging activities:

• A thrilling Science lesson with Principal Lisa Moloney, featuring flying marshmallows!
• An energetic PDHPE session in the sunshine with Deputy Principal Melissa Boyd.
• Hands-on baking in the commercial kitchens with Head of Learning and Teaching Linda Emms.
• An exploration of HSIE subjects with Head of Senior School Joanna Graffen.

Year 6 students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the day. Their excitement and eagerness to learn were truly inspiring and ensures a smooth transition in to the Senior School.

For those new to Year 7, the Orientation program includes an Experience Day as well as a Orientation Day where all students for Year 7 the following year have a chance to get together and build connections.
