Jeans for Genes Day at Junior School

Following their Sunday Chapel service, the Booralee House hosted Jeans for Genes Day across the Junior School campus. Denim was to be seen everywhere (and our teachers took full advantage of the change to their dress code!). During the assembly there was a guest speaker talking about the significance of research into genes. We also had demonstrations of the girls’ yoyo skills (as we sold yoyos as part of our fundraiser). Year 3 student, Gem, is one of this year’s children on the Jeans for Genes Day poster.  It was wonderful for Booralee to support such a good cause.
