#140Years140Stories: Day 44

On 4 April 1982, MLC School made history as the first school in Australia to bring computers into classroom learning.

Each student in Kent House’s 5W class received a Microbee desktop computer, launching the pioneering Computer Aided Learning Project.

It was so groundbreaking that 60 Minutes filmed a segment, calling it “the
first of its kind in Australia, and possibly the world.” 🚀
