{"id":6699,"date":"2026-09-18T12:25:55","date_gmt":"2026-09-18T02:25:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mce\/?post_type=article&#038;p=6699"},"modified":"2026-09-18T12:25:55","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T02:25:55","slug":"reminder-end-of-term-3","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mce\/article\/reminder-end-of-term-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder &#8211; End of Term 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">11 September 2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dear Parents\/Carers\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reminders for End of Term 3 &amp; Start of Term 4<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With the end of Term fast approaching, we wish all the best to our Year 12 Students who will graduate on <\/span><b>Tuesday 22 September. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This will be the last day of formal classes for Year 12.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please note arrangements for Tuesday 22 September:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Year 12 and their families (including siblings) will depart the College at approximately 1.30 pm after the Graduation Assembly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0For all other students (7-11), there will be a staggered dismissal from 1.45 pm\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Years 7-9<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A reminder, as per the College Calendar, the last formal day of lessons for all students in Years 7-10 will be <\/span><b>Thursday 24 September.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Should your son require supervision on Friday 25 September, please complete this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/RT9uZHLbh5CN7oMv9\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Google form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by no later than Wednesday 23 September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Year 10<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Year 10 will be on Work Experience from Monday 21 September until Friday 25 September.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>For Year 11<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On <\/span><b>Friday 25 September,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Year 11 will have a HSC Planning Day. <\/span><b>All Year 11 students are expected to attend school on Friday<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. On this day, Year 11 students will continue their transition into their final year of academic high school studies and is a continuation of information that has been shared in pastoral lessons and the debunking HSC myths\/HSC Information Night that will occur on Monday 14 September, at 6pm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During this day students will listen to a number of different speakers outlining the year ahead, engage in their first mentor meeting and may have meetings with teachers regarding major works, VET competencies, as well as Extension subject requirements and change of subject\/change of pattern meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2026\/09\/Dates-2.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightcase\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6638\" src=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2026\/09\/Dates-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"409\" height=\"109\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2026\/09\/Dates-2.jpg 409w, https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2026\/09\/Dates-2-200x53.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 409px) 100vw, 409px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<b>Term 4 Commencement<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Term 4 will commence on <\/span><b>Tuesday 13 October 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and all students are reminded to return to school with appropriate haircuts and grooming in full College summer uniform.
