Malcolm confirmed apologies, no conflicts of interest, and the acceptance of previous minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal\u2019s Report Highlights \u2013 Juliette McMurray<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Principal expressed gratitude to relieving Principal Josh O\u2019Neill.<\/li>\n<li>Term 3 commenced with a staff development day focused on Professional Learning surrounding AI in Education<\/li>\n<li>Debating &amp; Athletics Achievements \u2013 in Athletics, Xavier A in Year 10 qualified for nationals<\/li>\n<li>Public Education Awards held at Town Hall. Additional\u00a0 funds requested for working expenditure approved.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Environmental Education NSW Awards &#8211; Elizabeth Kenyon<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposal to nominate Ms Maddox for the Environmental Education NSW Awards, recognising her commitment to sustainability education.<\/p>\n<p>She has made significant contribution and successfully inspired and involved students who previously had little interest in environmental issues.<\/p>\n<p>The P&amp;C formally endorsed her nomination, recognising her outstanding leadership and contribution to the school&#8217;s environmental programs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>P&amp;C and IMP events calendar &#8211; Elizabeth Kenyon<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>P&amp;C executive to collate all major 2026 out-of-hours event dates by the October meeting to execute the required Department Community Use Agreement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>P&amp;C Insurance &amp; Zoom Renewal &#8211; Malcolm Groves<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Discussion on renewal of Annual P &amp; C Federation membership and public liability insurance. Discussion on Annual Zoom subscription renewal. Jens to research non-profit rates for Zoom.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Uniform Shop Staffing and T4 Fittings &#8211; Emma Pearce<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gladys will remain in the role for another year to support succession planning and train a replacement.<\/p>\n<p>Uniform fitting appointments will be reduced from 4 to 3 students per timeslot to manage volunteer shortages.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment of uniform shop coordinators and volunteers will be expanded across the broader school community.<\/p>\n<p>Stella Liang will prepare a role description and estimated hours, which Kirrily will circulate to the community.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>School Security and Student Belongings &#8211; Sivvy Xu<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reported incidents of missing student belongings have improved this term, with issues being followed up promptly.<\/p>\n<p>Staff are encouraging students to bring bags into classrooms where practical.<\/p>\n<p>Ongoing student education focuses on protecting valuables, noting that many reported thefts are later found to be misplaced items.<\/p>\n<p>The school continues to promote student responsibility and awareness as the primary strategy to prevent loss of belongings.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Year 12 Graduation <\/strong>&#8211; <strong>Vivian Wang<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A request was raised for up to $1,500 ($10\/student) in matching subsidy funding for Year 12 Graduation event refreshments and photo backdrops, filling the gap after parent fundraising<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Acknowledgement of Teacher Activities \/ Achievements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Miss Shi for her dedication to the Year 11 Mathematics &#8211; noting her efforts in supporting students for exam prep.
