{"id":9540,"date":"2026-06-30T01:02:37","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T01:02:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/fortstreet\/?post_type=article&#038;p=9540"},"modified":"2026-06-30T01:02:37","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T01:02:37","slug":"fort-fest-2026-2","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/fortstreet\/article\/fort-fest-2026-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Fort Fest 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Fort Fest 2026 needs you!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As you all know, Fort Fest is one of the highlights of our school calendar, bringing together students, families and the wider community for a day of fun, connection and fundraising.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While the event is still some time away in term 3, planning is well underway, and we\u2019re calling on our amazing school community to help make Fort Fest 2026 the best one yet!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Volunteers needed<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As an event powered entirely by volunteers, we have a number of important roles to fill.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Bubble soccer coordinator &#8211; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">manage one of the star attractions of Fort Fest and coordinate logistics, stall volunteers and ensure the activity runs smoothly on the day.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>BBQ star<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; love a good sausage sizzle? The BBQ star will be responsible for coordinating the evening\u2019s BBQ operations.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Second stage coordinator<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; Help bring entertainment to life by coordinating performances, schedules and logistics for the second stage (the main stage will feature IMP performances, while the second stage will provide a platform to showcase a variety of talent and creativity from our school and the local community).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Call for donations<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are still looking for donations to help stock our stall and create exciting fundraising opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Raffle and auction prizes &#8211; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">gift vouchers, experiences, products, services or unique items that would make great prizes<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Stock now for term 3<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Books<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; pre-loved books in good condition<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Board games <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; complete sets ready for a new home<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Plants <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; plants, seedlings, herbs or garden favourites<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To volunteer, donate or find out how you can get involved, email <\/span><a href=\"mailto:events@fortstreetpandc.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">events@fortstreetpandc.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fort Fest 2026 needs you!
