Here are some updates from them<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finalised merchandise: black hoodie with maroon logo, white socks with maroon stripes, and potential cap designs.<\/li>\n<li>Promotional activities: banners, posters, merchandise stalls, videos, and token sales.<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising target discussed; students involved in planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Outgoing SRC executives, in collaboration with Mr Shakibaei, reviewed and amended the SRC Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>Key amendments included: Voting and vote tabulation procedures, Distribution and clarification of executive roles, Governance consolidation and clarification. The amendments successfully passed the vote on 4th May.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secretary\u2019s Report and Previous Minutes \u2013 Lucy Liang<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Secretary confirmed apologies, no conflicts of interest, and the acceptance of previous minutes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous meeting minutes were accepted.<\/li>\n<li>Received furniture catalogues and fundraising materials.<\/li>\n<li>Highlight! Sports ribbons ordered and received on 30 April, with positive feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal\u2019s Report Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Relieving Principal Josh O\u2019Neill shared his recent experience with great enthusiasm! He talked about school activities, including classroom visits, student engagement, and extracurriculars. From various activities, strong student participation, school spirit, and positive staff-student interactions were observed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognised the success of ANZAC Day assembly and staff contributions.<\/li>\n<li>Noted approximately 450 students participated in selective and OC testing, with positive feedback but concerns about testing conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Acknowledgement given to<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; Lindy Walk (Head Teacher History)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Student speakers and performers<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Music and History staff<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Mr Feng<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report &#8211; Prabhu Sivabalan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All accounts have healthy balances.<\/li>\n<li>Financial controls for Fort Fest and clarification of accounting discrepancies underway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Fort Fest \u2013 Elizabeth Kenyon<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Planning progressing, committee roles outlined for committee members who are: Emma, Lucy, Angie, Jackie, Paula, Susie, more volunteers in need and warmly welcome! fortnightly meetings, sponsorship outreach started, and documentation centralised for future handover.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>School Travel Survey &#8211; Elizabeth Kenyon<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Discussion on local traffic safety, bus overcrowding, and data for transport planning. Submission to be prepared for council.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>RoboCup Competition &#8211; Josh O&#8217;Neill \/ David Sherwin<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Discussion on increasing costs of specialised robotics components, and encouragement were given to all school groups to submit funding request for constructive STEM opportunities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Sustainability &#8211; Jens Olscher<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>School has 274 solar panels (~100 MWh\/year), staff support for EV chargers, discussion on expanding solar and EV infrastructure and cost assessment for feasibility, and potential council collaboration.
