{"id":8324,"date":"2025-09-26T04:19:15","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T04:19:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/fortstreet\/?post_type=article&#038;p=8324"},"modified":"2025-09-26T04:19:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T04:19:15","slug":"year-9-geography-excursion","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/fortstreet\/article\/year-9-geography-excursion\/","title":{"rendered":"Year 9 Geography Excursion"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">On Monday the 25th of August, Ms Nolan and Ms Xu\u2019s Year 9 Geography students headed to Barangaroo for an excursion focusing on the changing land use of Barangaroo and its surrounding areas, noting the urban renewal and consolidation.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">After arriving in Barangaroo through the newly developed Metro station, we gathered near the Cutaway to discuss Barangaroo\u2019s changing features and the day\u2019s itinerary. Next, we walked towards Barangaroo Reserve where we observed the area\u2019s development and privatisation. Following a short recess, we walked to Marrinawi Cove, noting the pedestrian count and activity in the area.
