Year 9 had lots of fun doing studio photography recently in our PDM room. As part of their Semester 2 program, they are learning about how to use different settings on a DSLR camera. Using glass prisms and their own objects, they had to use different coloured light filters made from cellophane, plastic rulers or even cups! They then edited their photographs slightly on Photoshop and ended up with these. Year 9 had lots of fun and got very creative with their ideas and colours!<\/span><\/p>\n

Some other techniques they have learnt this term is splash photography using a fast shutter speed, capturing creative shadows using light sources and experimenting with a variety of aperture settings to create moody photographs.<\/span><\/p>\n
