IMP Update \u2013 26 August 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Fort Fest Performances<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Fort Fest will take place Friday 20 September, from 3:20pm-8pm, and is the IMP\u2019s major performance event for Term 3. There is a fantastic festival atmosphere at this event and family and friends are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n

    All IMP members are expected to perform with their respective ensembles. If students are running a stall, they must <\/strong>ensure coverage is available during their performance(s).<\/p>\n

    Please note that the IMP performances\u00a0run throughout the afternoon and evening in the\u00a0Lower Kilgour Quad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Performances are NOT at regular intervals! It is incredibly important that everyone reads the schedule\u00a0carefully and arrives at the correct\u00a0time.<\/p>\n

    Students should arrive at the Lower Kilgour Quad at the time specified for their ensemble in the timetable below. They should then unpack in the Basement, K7 or K19, and proceed immediately to the stage when the preceding group has finished playing. The 8-minute changeover time includes all stage resets, tuning, and announcements.<\/p>\n

    In the event of wet weather, the IMP performances will take place in the Library<\/strong>, following the same schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

    1. AUDITIONS for WAAPA Diploma of Music and Bachelor of Music<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      WA Academy of Performing Arts will be holding live music auditions in Sydney on Friday 20 September<\/u>.<\/p>\n

      NOTE: The closing date for applications is 2 September 2024!<\/strong><\/p>\n

      WAAPA offers Diploma of Music and Bachelor of Music courses in classical music, jazz, contemporary music, singer-songwriting and composition.\u00a0 WAAPA have over 600 music students and their graduates can be found working and performing world-wide.<\/p>\n
