{"id":5215,"date":"2023-05-24T03:18:28","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T03:18:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/fortstreet\/?post_type=article&#038;p=5215"},"modified":"2023-05-24T03:18:28","modified_gmt":"2023-05-24T03:18:28","slug":"year-12-earth-and-environmental-science","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/fortstreet\/article\/year-12-earth-and-environmental-science\/","title":{"rendered":"Year 12 Earth and Environmental Science"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday 5 May, Year 12 Earth and Environmental Science took a train to their excursion at the Australian Museum in Sydney CBD.<\/p>\n<p>Their focus was the Australia Through Time activity, where students analysed important Australian fossils, sustainable resource management of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nations, and climate change in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Students also visited the recently opened Australian Minerals and Petrology collection, where they explored the important rocks, minerals, meteorites &amp; geological resources of the country.<\/p>\n<p>My little geologists took their time discovering the museum and its collections.
