Hi Fort Street,<\/span><\/p>\n

Hope you are enjoying the last term of this school year! There are many exciting events planned that we would love to share with you!<\/span><\/p>\n

The SRC 22\/23 was inducted into office in the assembly last Friday, and the new executive team would like to say a big thank you to the outgoing SRC Executives 21\/22 for being amazing role models and leaders of our school. We have big shoes to fill, but this is only the beginning and we look forward to making the most of our SRC term by bringing forward our passion and dedication along with our many ideas!<\/span><\/p>\n

Breakfast Club<\/b><\/p>\n

With the increase of children skipping breakfast, Ms Ezekiel has organised a fantastic Breakfast Club for the Fort, operating twice a week in the Staff Common Room!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday (8-8:30am): Years 7, 8<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday (9-9:30am): Years 9, 10, 11<\/span><\/p>\n

Breakfast Club offers a range of breakfast options including cereals, toast, muesli bars and fruit, as well as a social hangout before school!<\/span><\/p>\n

FIFA Competition + Australia v France BBQ<\/b><\/p>\n

The FIFA World Cup is fast approaching, and what better way is there to support your favourite teams than placing your bets?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The FIFA Australia v France game is a major event for Australians, and Ms Ezekiel would like to show Fort Street\u2019s support during the game, while also letting you join in on the excitement! The Australia v France game will be shown in the hall before school on Wednesday 23rd November (Week 7) 6am-8am. There will be some free snacks for people watching the game, and then a fundraiser barbeque breakfast starting at 8am!<\/span><\/p>\n

End of Year Party<\/b><\/p>\n

The End of Year Party is an after-school event on Thursday Week 10, organised by the SRC to raise school spirit and promote a lively culture to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year.<\/span><\/p>\n

At this event there will be music, food stalls, decorations and many activities and we would love for you to come along! Tickets will be sold at a stall in the Kilgour Quad during weeks 9 and 10<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be lots of music, fun and food stalls! We encourage all students to hold food and games stalls to add to the atmosphere.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Talent Quest<\/b><\/p>\n

The Fort Street annual Talent Quest is happening on Friday Week 10 in the school hall! Everyone is encouraged to perform acts in real life on stage, and you are also welcome to submit an act on video. Students who have participated in the Talent Quest will receive a free donut, and winners that are voted by students will receive spectacular prizes!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
