On Monday 29 August, 70 Fortians performed in the newly-renovated Sydney Opera House as part of ‘In Concert’.\u00a0This is a Secondary Choral Festival run by The Arts Unit of the NSW Department of Education.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fortians appeared with the Combined Choir, the NSW Public Schools Symphony Orchestra, the NSW State Wind Band, the NSW Public Schools Singers, and the NSW Public Schools Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Over 1000 public schools students were involved. The guest artist was singer-songwriter Lior.<\/p>\n

It was a joyous event, and a real privilege to try out the new Concert Hall after so many years away.\u00a0Congratulations to all students and staff involved.<\/p>\n
