This involved students working in teams or individually to complete activities designed to get everyone moving, being creative and connecting with each other. Such tasks included learning a Just Dance routine, composing music, giving themselves a makeover and going old-school by writing a letter to post (yes, in the mail). Students were encouraged to be creative in the way they presented their activities, with prizes on offer for those who were the most creative. This could be done by filming a time-lapse, editing a video or submitting photographs.

Especially in these times of harsh COVID restrictions, many students enjoyed the break from remote school and a chance to connect with their fellow peers, while also having some time to themselves. Many students also embraced the chance to try some new things they might not have done before (such as letter writing, for example), making the wellbeing day, thanks to the teachers, a great success.

Charlie Foster (Year 9)

Each of our prizes winners will be award with $20 voucher generously donated by the P&C.

Winners
Year 7
7F – Harvey Huang
7O – Brianna Truong
7R – Miranda Leighton
7T – Xavier Chan
7I – Grace Zarb

Group Prize: Young Innovators (Bhavnish Jain, Chinmay Dixit, Neil Razdan, Ian Jeneymark.
