Hannah-Grace Lee from Year 8 was awarded second prize\u00a0in the\u00a0Year 7 and 8 category of the\u00a0\u200bAustralian Children’s Television Corporation and the Australian Literacy Educators’ Association’s\u00a02020 My Place competition.\u00a0The competition\u00a0was judged by YA\u00a0author Nadia Wheatley, whose much-loved\u00a0picture\u00a0book My Place has been made into a popular children’s\u00a0television program.\u00a0 Hannah’s piece tackles movingly\u00a0the trauma\u00a0of life under\u00a0COVID.<\/p>\n
