More information is on our EAS page: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uac.edu.au\/future-applicants\/scholarships-and-schemes\/educational-access-schemes\/disadvantages-and-documents\">https:\/\/www.uac.edu.au\/future-applicants\/scholarships-and-schemes\/educational-access-schemes\/disadvantages-and-documents<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>F01K \u2013 Job Keeper<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will be granted to applicants who can show that their parent(s)\/guardian(s) are in receipt of the Job Keeper allowance for a period of at least <strong>three <\/strong>months.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants will have to provide the letters that each employee (parent\/guardian) will receive from their employer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F01S \u2013 Job Seeker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will be granted to applicants who can show that their parent(s)\/guardian(s) are in receipt of the Job Seeker allowance for a period of at least <strong>three<\/strong> <strong>months <u>from March 2020 onwards<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants will have to provide their parent(s)\/guardian(s) Centrelink statement showing this payment (as is the case with F01D [family tax benefit] currently).<\/p>\n<p><strong>These disadvantages will be available for selection from 1 August 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If a student has already applied, they will be able to add these disadvantages to their existing application from 1 August 2020.<\/p>\n<p>As is the case with all EAS disadvantages, it is for each Institution to decide on the weighting they place on these new disadvantages and allocate adjustments\/places accordingly<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update to EAS We are adding two new disadvantages to Educational Access Schemes (EAS) in 2020 to help students whose families have been disadvantaged financially by the impact of COVID-19.
