Last week Jazz Orchestra performed at the Essentially Ellington festival at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. They were given feedback on their performance and a workshop with members of the world-renowned Lincoln Centre Jazz Orchestra, New York. These are some of the finest jazz players and educators in the world. The players found it incredibly inspiring to be a part of the festival and the group, who already sounded great, made huge leaps forward in their playing.<\/p>\n
