The Federal Government&#8217;s Women in STEM Decadal Plan launched in March 2019, has acknowledged that there are a large number of initiatives addressing this challenge.\u200b In response to this challenge, Ms Wilkins and Mr Semaan from the Technology faculty organised an excursion for all year 8 girls. This one-day event provided an opportunity for female students to participate in a range of hands-on activities plus they get an inside look at life as a female student\/professional in the STEM career areas.
