Year 9 Wheelchair Basketball

Our Year 9 students recently took part in a special basketball workshop led by a wheelchair basketball athlete. Students had the opportunity to hear his inspiring story and learn about his sporting career before getting hands-on experience themselves. They practised key wheelchair basketball skills and then put them to the test in a friendly game. The workshop was an eye-opening and enjoyable experience, giving students a new appreciation for the sport and the determination of athletes who play it.
