Legacy Public Speaking

Fort Street students have thrown themselves headlong into the Legacy Junior Public Speaking Awards, a prestigious national competition for young orators. After hotly contested tryouts, two very talented students were entered to represent the school: Kiyasha Chakraborty of Year 7 and Divyan Gnanasivam of Year 8. At a heat hosted at the school on 17^th July, Kiyasha delivered excellent prepared and impromptu speeches and was unlucky not to proceed further. Divyan won his regional heat on 4^th August and will progress to the regional finals.
