Fort Street Careers Day
The school’s Careers Fair was a great success again this year with so many of the year 11 and 12 students and parents attending.
All the major Sydney universities and scholarship programs were represented at the Fair and many of the reps were Fortian alumni who were keen to share their experiences and advice with our current students. Several other tertiary providers also attended and created lots of interest amongst the students for their degree courses and other offerings.
The students also appreciated the BBQ provided, and special thanks goes to the teams of year 10 helpers who made the Fair run so smoothly.
Fortian Alumni came back to the school to connect with current year 11 and 12 students at our Careers Fair.
They represented the UTS Bachelor of Accounting Co-op Scholarship program, the Macquarie University Actuarial Co-op scholarship program, the University of Sydney Faculties of Law, Engineering and Advanced Science, and UTS post-graduate Architecture.
They loved connecting with the current students and wish our current HSC candidates all the very best for their exams, and for their future studies.
