Careers Fair

Once again this year the Careers Office hosted a very successful Careers Fair in week 5 for students in years 11 and 12 and their parents.

Representatives of the major Sydney universities all attended, as well as several other prestigious tertiary institutions and scholarship programs. The feedback from the visitors was exceptionally positive, with many commenting on how impressed they were with the questions and engagement from the Fortians. The Careers Fair each year provides senior students with an outstanding opportunity to have one-on-one conversations and ask individual questions of the academics and current students from the various institutions represented, and to connect directly with the organisations all in one place at one time. Many of the ambassadors are Fortians, which makes for excellent alumni connections on the day, and beyond.

Once again Mr Leondios’ BBQ was much appreciated by everyone. A big shout out to him and to the impressive year 10 volunteers helped to make the whole afternoon run smoothly.
