
The Benefits of Reading for Pleasure
The start of a new school year is a great time to remind everyone about the benefits of reading for pleasure. Several studies undertaken in a range of countries have found compelling evidence that a sustained reading practice has a positive impact on students’ learning outcomes and well being. I have included a link to two short articles that discuss research in this field.
