Year 7 Camp 2026
Our Year 7 students kicked off their secondary school journey with an exciting and adventure‑filled camp in Busselton. The camp offered the perfect blend of challenge, teamwork and plenty of laughter, helping students build new friendships and strengthen existing ones.
One of the most memorable activities was raft building, where groups worked together to design, construct and test their own rafts. Using teamwork, creativity and a touch of problem‑solving, students put their engineering skills to the test to create vessels sturdy enough to float and in some cases, carry their whole team across the water! The splashes and laughter that followed made it an instant camp favourite.
On land, students brought out their competitive side with a lively tug‑of‑war competition. Each round was full of determination as teams dug their heels in and pulled with all their strength. The cheering, encouragement and good‑natured rivalry created an atmosphere of excitement and school spirit.
Throughout the camp, students also took part in group games, designed to build communication, cooperation and teamwork. Whether solving challenges, racing through tasks or working together to beat the clock, the games helped students bond and created plenty of shared memories.
Beyond the activities, camp life allowed students time to relax, recharge and enjoy the company of their peers outside the classroom. Their enthusiasm, behaviour and willingness to participate made the experience rewarding for both students and staff.
The Year 7 Camp was a fantastic start to the year filled with teamwork, adventure and friendships that will continue to grow throughout their high school journey.
