Harmony Day Celebrations Bring Our School Community Together

Harmony Day Celebrations Bring Our School Community Together

Our school was filled with colour, joy, and a powerful sense of belonging as we celebrated Harmony Day on 24 March. Harmony Day is a special opportunity for our community to recognise and honour the rich cultural diversity that shapes who we are. This year’s theme, Everyone Belongs, was brought to life beautifully by our students and staff.

One of the highlights of the day was the Primary Harmony Day Parade, where students proudly showcased their vibrant cultural outfits. The parade created a wonderful atmosphere as students walked, danced, and smiled their way around the school grounds, representing cultures from all around the world. It was heartwarming to see their confidence as they shared their heritage and traditions with classmates and teachers.

Throughout the day, classes across all year levels engaged in activities that encouraged inclusivity, cultural awareness, and respect. From storytelling and art projects to discussions about family backgrounds and traditions, students had meaningful opportunities to explore what harmony and diversity truly mean.

We extend a warm thank you to our students, families, and staff for helping make Harmony Day an enjoyable and meaningful celebration. Your enthusiasm and support continue to make our school a welcoming place where every student feels valued.
