Firstly – the most important thing … Have you downloaded the Conference App yet?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Conference App really is such an integral part of the success of your overall Conference experience! <\/strong>It is vital in the Check-In and Name Badge printing process<\/span> … and, it is also your information hub, Session scheduler and gaming console, all in one! You won’t want to be without it!<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Accessing the App<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n
\n
1. Search for the ‘<\/span>Educate Plus<\/span>‘ App in your chosen App store (see access options below)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
2. Download and install the <\/span>‘Educate Plus’<\/span> App. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
3. Open the ‘<\/span>Educate Plus<\/span>‘ App to see the <\/span>Empowering Success International Conference<\/span> event listed. Click on the event.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You will be directed to the event Welcome screen. Once loaded, you can log into the Event App<\/span> using the same first name, last name and email used when you registered for the Conference. From here you will be sent an authorisation code.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Populate Your Profile Details<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

1. Tap on the <\/span>‘Profile<\/span>‘ button (Top right hand corner) to view your Profile. Edit as needed, uploading a headshot image and updating your title and location details.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2. <\/span>Ensure your your profile visibility is turned on<\/span> so that other attendees can find you in the App. Tap on ‘<\/span>Settings<\/span>‘ to update your ‘<\/span>Privacy<\/span>‘. Under ‘<\/span>Visibility Settings’<\/span>, slide the ‘black circle’ toggle to the right in order to appear on the Attendee list.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. <\/span>Make sure you can receive Notifications <\/span>to ensure you are kept up to date.<\/span> Tap on ‘<\/span>Settings<\/span>‘ to update your ‘<\/span>Notifications<\/span>‘. Under ‘<\/span>Allow Notifications<\/span>‘, slide the ‘black circle’ toggle to the right in order to receive any notifications sent. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Welcome to Conference QR Hunt<\/strong>\u2014the interactive game for the Empowering Success International Conference. Get ready to have fun, make connections, get valuable resources, and score points while you\u2019re at it!<\/p>\n

Climb your way to the top of the leaderboard by interacting with the App and scanning the hidden QR codes (use the scanner within the game).<\/p>\n

Meet the Exhibitors \u2013 QR Code Challenges<\/strong>
\nEach Exhibitor has been given a QR code worth points. You will need to interact with them to ask for the code. Browse their booths or consider joining the Exhibitors\u2019 Speed Networking Session at 11.35am on Thursday 12 September for a hit of points!<\/p>\n

Hidden Bonuses \u2013 QR Code Challenges<\/strong>
\nWe\u2019ve been a bit sneaky and we\u2019ve hidden some QR codes throughout the Conference venues. You will receive extra points if you find and scan them!<\/p>\n

App Aficionado \u2013 in App Challenges<\/strong>
\nGet to know the App and its functionality and you will receive points for your clicks and taps! Get to know our Exhibitors before the event by viewing their profile pages, and receive more points! View the Sessions that are available and make yourself familiar with the App … and the game! There are so many points available so jump on in!<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong> You will need to scan the QR code within the App Game itself to claim the points – please do not use your normal photo scanner. To access the Game QR Scanner:<\/p>\n

    • Tap on the \u2018Meet the Exhibitors\u2019 category (within the Game App)<\/li>\n
    • Tap on an Exhibitor. You will be given the option to use scan the QR Code, or to write in the QR Code.<\/li>\n
    • Note: This also applies to the \u2018Hidden Bonuses\u2019 category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Check out the rules below, and most importantly… have some fun and meet new people!<\/p>\n

      The Conference QR Hunt Rules:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. The Conference QR Hunt concludes on Friday 13 September at 11am.<\/li>\n
      2. The intent of the QR Hunt is to create, connect, communicate, discover, and share.<\/li>\n
      3. Use the QR Hunt to foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for you and other attendees.<\/li>\n
      4. Prizes will be announced on Friday 13 September during the Conference Close.\n
          \n
        • There are three gift card prizes valued at $500, $300 and $200 \u2013 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.<\/li>\n
        • In the event that there is a tie at the top of the Leaderboard (two or more \u2018Leaders\u2019), the names of the Leaders will be put into a draw and will be drawn out in winner order (1st, 2nd and 3rd).<\/li>\n
        • The organisers\u2019 decision is final.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • This is a bit of networking and engagement fun! Please play the game in the spirit in which it was intended.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
