Firstly – the most important thing … Have you downloaded the Conference App yet?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Conference App is such an integral part of the success of your overall Conference experience! It is vital in the Check-In and Name Badge printing process … and, it is also your information hub, Session scheduler and gaming console, all in one!<\/p>\n

You really won’t want to be without it!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Accessing the App<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n
\n
1. Search for the ‘<\/span>Educate Plus<\/span>‘ App in your chosen App store (see access options below)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
2. Download and install the <\/span>‘Educate Plus’<\/span> App. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
3. Open the ‘<\/span>Educate Plus<\/span>‘ App to see the <\/span>Building Futures International Conference<\/span> event listed. Click on the event.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You will be directed to the event Welcome screen. Once loaded, you can log into the Event App<\/span> using the same first name, last name and email used when you registered for the Conference. From here you will be sent an authorisation code.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

POPULATE YOUR PROFILE DETAILS<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

1. Tap on the <\/span>‘Profile<\/span>‘ button (Top right hand corner) to view your Profile. Edit as needed, uploading a headshot image and updating your title and location details.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2. <\/span>Ensure your your profile visibility is turned on<\/span> so that other attendees can find you in the App. Tap on ‘<\/span>Settings<\/span>‘ to update your ‘<\/span>Privacy<\/span>‘. Under ‘<\/span>Visibility Settings’<\/span>, slide the ‘black circle’ toggle to the right in order to appear on the Attendee list.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. <\/span>Make sure you can receive Notifications <\/span>to ensure you are kept up to date.<\/span> Tap on ‘<\/span>Settings<\/span>‘ to update your ‘<\/span>Notifications<\/span>‘. Under ‘<\/span>Allow Notifications<\/span>‘, slide the ‘black circle’ toggle to the right in order to receive any notifications sent.

  • The App is vital for Conference Check-In.<\/strong> Before approaching the Registration Desk kiosks, have the Conference App downloaded and your QR Code open and ready to scan. Your personal QR Code is accessible from the Home Page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • View the full Program, including Session details, synopses and Speaker bios. Select Sessions to add to My Schedule<\/strong> and, if desired, your personal calendar.<\/li>\n
    • Session Feedback:<\/strong> Please provide feedback for each Session you attend. Add the Session to My Schedule<\/strong>, then complete the four-question Survey that appears at the bottom of the Session screen. Your feedback is invaluable for future planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • View all Speakers, their bios and the Sessions they are presenting. You can also sort Speakers as preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        The Leaderboard Challenge<\/strong> games are all about connecting, communicating, discovering and sharing. Please play in the spirit intended, helping create a positive, inclusive and safe experience for everyone.<\/p>\n

                        • The Challenges close at 10.30am on Friday 4 September<\/strong>. Scores from both Leaderboards will then be combined, so play both Challenges to maximise your chance of winning!<\/strong><\/li>\n
                        • Winners will be announced during the Conference Close<\/strong>, with gift card prizes of $500, $300 and $200<\/strong> for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.<\/li>\n
                        • In the event of a tie, tied Leaders will go into a prize draw. The organisers\u2019 decision is final.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
