Information is all publicly available (websites, public databases and media releases).\u00a0 Never include information that is not verified or is not relevant to your objective.\u00a0Be aware of the privacy laws surrounding what information you can hold.<\/p>\n<h4>What are strategies for researching?\u00a0<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Names:check the spelling of names, abbreviated names (Jon\/Jonathan) and partner\u2019s names.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Use advanced search tools: and (+), Or (\/) and Not (-) eg: Andrew Forrest + Twiggy Forrest.\u00a0 Search<\/li>\n<li>Search specific sites: Andrew Forrest Site:.au (only Australian)<\/li>\n<li>Phrase searches: include quotation marks \u201cAndrew Forrest\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nRating your prospects guides fundraisers with a starting point.
