Strategic Planning for Your Organisation, Team and You 

On Thursday, 6 August 2026, educate+ WA welcomed Advancement professionals from across the state to AngliSchools House in Perth for an engaging professional development workshop, Strategic Planning for Your Organisation, Team and You. 

The event brought together directors, heads, managers and officers representing a diverse range of schools, universities and residential colleges across Western Australia. 

Designed as a practical, hands-on workshop, the session encouraged delegates to think strategically about planning at three interconnected levels: their organisation, their team and their own professional practice. Participants worked through practical activities, shared ideas and explored approaches they could apply within their respective institutions. 

The room was filled with energy and conversation throughout the workshop, with delegates enthusiastically engaging in the activities and learning from the varied experiences of their colleagues across the education sector. The highly interactive format provided valuable opportunities for reflection, collaboration and the exchange of ideas. 

Following the formal professional development program, members continued the conversation over drinks at Lil’s Rooftop Bar. The relaxed gathering was thoroughly enjoyed by all and provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen existing connections and welcome new members of the Educate Plus community.
