Personalisation, transparency, and open communication build trust, ensuring long-term engagement and support.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovation in fundraising<\/strong>: With increasing competition, innovative approaches to fundraising were highlighted. Utilising data analytics, storytelling, and digital strategies such as social media campaigns and online giving days allows institutions to engage with their communities in new, impactful ways.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Embracing change in education<\/strong>: The evolving landscape of education demands flexibility and adaptability. The Conference underscored the need for educational institutions to continuously adapt to meet the diverse needs of modern society.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Overall, the Conference reinforced the importance of staying agile in today\u2019s fast-changing world. This will now form part of my donor strategy and provides invaluable insight as I embark on a new Capital Appeal. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advocacy in Admissions and Marketing: <\/strong>Margo Bastow\u2019s session reinforced the importance of plotting the customer journey. I got so many ideas on how I could enhance that journey for our community.
