President’s Report

Maria MercuriWith the end of the year fast approaching, it was a pleasure to gather with many of you at our AGM on 15 November at Scotch College. We sincerely thank Tim Shearer, Director of Development, for hosting the event and arranging a private tour of the impressive Sir Zelman Cowen Centre.  It was fabulous to see the result of such a successful campaign and the philanthropic support.

On behalf of the Vic/Tas Committee I wish you and those around you best wishes for the festive season.

With kind regards

Maria Mercuri F.Edplus

‘LEAPS AND BOUNDS’ – Chapter Conference 26-27 June 2017 at Brighton Grammar

We are excited to reveal the theme of our 2017 conference – Leaps and Bounds. Over two days, we’ll explore the latest advances in our industry, hear from those who are leading the way about how they are innovating, and extend our own professional skills to bring out the best in our organisations. We’d love you to play an active part in our Conference and really shape it to meet your needs.

Please email your response to the following:

  • Join the Conference Committee: We are currently in the process of forming a Committee to organise the conference. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a key role in EducatePlus and extend your skills and experience.
  • Ideas for topics: Do you have two or three ideas that you think the Conference needs to cover for the next leap forward?
  • Ideas for keynote speakers and presenters:  Do you know any amazing and inspirational presenters from within and beyond our industry?

PLEASE respond to the above prior to Wednesday, 7 December 2016 via email to:  mercurmn@mlc.vic.edu.au.  Thank you.
