If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you call it?<\/b> Not sure what I\u2019ll call it, but it will be in \u201cSpanglish\u2019 for sure!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you like most about Educate Plus?<\/b> Its people! I love hanging out with like-minded people\u2026 Having great conversations with colleagues at PD days, and knowing that when you need a sounding board, there is always someone at the other end of the phone willing to help you out!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>How has Educate Plus helped you in your career development?<\/b> It has provided me with the opportunity to meet wonderful people and also has given me access to thought leaders who were not on my radar\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the most rewarding part of your role at Scotch College Adelaide?<\/b> I really enjoy working with students across the years in various projects including the Junior School Philanthropy Scavenger, Gratitude Week and TEDxYouth@Scotch.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you first learn about Educate Plus? <\/b>It was so long ago (more than ten years!)\u00a0 that I cannot remember! But I think it was probably through my boss at the time, Karin Dunsford, who has always been encouraging to me and suggested that I look at the development opportunities on offer.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who would you like to be for a day?<\/b> Maybe someone who does something completely different from what I do, but I wouldn\u2019t like to be anyone famous for a day – not even for all the tea in China!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Favourite movie?<\/b> The Usual Suspects with Kevin Spacey<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s one thing you couldn\u2019t live without?<\/b> Ricardo (husband) would say my iPad, but the answer is definitely \u2018Music\u2019. As Friedrich Nietzsche said, \u2018Without music, life would be a mistake!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Who has had the biggest impact on your career thus far and why?<\/b> Many people have impacted my career over the years, but I think my mum had a great influence on me\u2026 Her passion, commitment, work ethic and dedication ignited my desire to work hard from an early age.<\/span><\/p>\n

Favourite travel spot? <\/b>Carrickalinga, Phi Phi Island (Thailand), Mystery Island (Vanuatu), Playa del Carmen (Mexico), Morrocoy Islands (Venezuela).. anywhere warm and beachy really!<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the weirdest job you\u2019ve ever had?<\/b> Not sure if they are weird, but I had a few interesting jobs in my youth – I once chopped strawberries galore for a \u201cstrawberries and cream\u201d stall in an Edinburgh rural fair while studying English, and I also worked as a calligrapher at a greeting card shop back in Venezuela.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What are your three most overused words\/phrases?<\/b> Is this in English or in Spanish? LOL. I think I can be accused of over using emojis ;P\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
