Welcome to the new financial year\u2026or term three. Regardless of how you look at things, we have just a few months left to get to where we want to be by the end of the year. Even as we accelerate our efforts and activities, please don\u2019t miss some real milestones worthy of your attention.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the Chapter Committee and the Conference Committee, our focus is very much on <\/span>EDGE: The SA-NT Chapter Conference 2019<\/b><\/a> from August 29-30, 2019. This is an incredible opportunity to network and learn from over 100 advancement colleagues. We have an amazing lineup of speakers to help you <\/span>EXPLORE<\/b> the power of data, <\/span>DISCOVER<\/b> new communication strategies, <\/span>GROW<\/b> your knowledge and skills, and <\/span>ENGAGE<\/b> and share experiences with peers who know exactly what you\u2019re going through and the challenges you face. There will be plenty of opportunities to network and build relationships at the Conference, as well as at the Conference Dinner on Thursday, 29 August at a secret CBD location. You are welcome to bring a partner along, <\/span>but you must register here<\/b><\/a>\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

I also wanted to ask you to join me in welcoming <\/span>Andrew Cockburn<\/b>, to the SA-NT Chapter Executive. Andrew has over 15 years of marketing and communications experience and currently serves as the Marketing Director of MGM Wireless, and brings a plethora of digital marketing and communications skills to the chapter committee from previous roles with Newscorp, Pedare Christian College, Pro AV Solutions and Panasonic Australia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are always on the lookout for advancement professionals that are looking to give back to the sector through volunteering on our committee, so <\/span>please let me know<\/span><\/a> if this is something you would be interested in.<\/span><\/p>\n
