Greetings from the QLD President

After all the turmoil at the start of the year it was fantastic to welcome over 40 delegates to our 2019 Chapter Award Winners Showcase.  We certainly have many talented members in our state.  I am sure like me, everyone left with their heads spinning with ideas and potential projects.

Our next Special Interest Group meeting is scheduled for 2.00pm on Thursday 29 October. We look forward to welcoming our practitioners in the Alumni and Fundraising sessions at St Margaret’s Anglican Girls’ School in Ascot.   

Due to COVID, we made the decision to postpone our planned PD day in Mackay.  We look forward to catching up with everyone in the region in 2021.

Educate Plus has hosted many online professional development and SIG programs this year.  We have adapted well and members from all over Australia and New Zealand have been sharing their insights. I encourage you to spend some time engaging with these online programs. Past events are available for viewing through the Educate Plus website, simply login and click on the Resources and then 2020 Recordings.

To our 2020 QLD Partners, Troop, School Bench, New Word Order, Charidy and Digistorm, thank you for your continued support of our vibrant chapter.

We look forward to welcoming all members to our Christmas PD day to include the AGM and celebration lunch.
